Cloth diapering can save municipalities significant amounts in landfill costs which is why more and more of them are offering subsidies for their residents who use cloth, either at home or with a service.
Below we have compiled a list of subsidies that we know of but if you don’t see your municipality, have a quick search on the web as it may indeed have some (then tell us about it ;-)).
The BabyAuric Diaper Service qualifies for all subsidies listed here. Sometimes we just need to give you a special invoice so don’t hesitate to ask.

Pointe Claire Details The amount of the grant can reach up to $200 per children and covers washable diapers, washable swim diapers (maximum of 2 diapers), waterproof carrying bags for soiled items, and fabric to make diapers. The amount of the grant can reach up to $100 per person and covers menstrual underwear and cups, washable sanitary napkins, reusable tampon applicators, diapers, washable underwear and liners for bedwetting, urinary leaks and incontinence, waterproof carrying bags for soiled items, and fabric to make underwear and liners for bedwetting, urinary leaks and incontinence. Diapers: Fill out the form for washable diapers and send it by e-mail to tp@pointe-claire.ca or bring it to the multiservice counter at City Hall along with your MULTI Card, the original bill and your child’s birth certificate (under 3 years old) or hospital card. The person making the request must be the parent or legal guardian of the children using the diapers. For other products: Fill out the form for feminine hygiene products or for incontinence and bedwetting products and send it by e-mail to tp@pointe-claire.ca or bring it to the multiservice counter at City Hall along with your MULTI Card and the original bill from a purchase made on or after January 21, 2020. For second-hand purchases, please fill out the declaration of transaction between individuals form. Only purchases made in Canada or the United States are accepted. Shipping charges are not included. Waterproof carrying bags for soiled items or for lining diaper pails are the only accessories eligible for the grant. Detergents or cleaning products, cosmetics or baby care products, other washable products (nursing pads, makeup remover pads, etc.) are not eligible. The grant is not renewableWashable diapers
